Mira (designation Omicron Ceti) is a red-giant star estimated to be 200-400 light-years from the Sun in the constellation Cetus. It is a binary stellar system, consisting of a variable red giant (Mira A) along with a white dwarf companion (Mira B). Mira A is a pulsating variable star and was the first non-supernova variable star discovered, with the possible exception of Algol.

Mira is also a feminine given name with varying meanings. In the Romance languages, it is related to the Latin words for 'wonder' and 'wonderful'. In South Slavic languages, it means 'peace'. In Albanian, it means 'goodness' or 'kindness'. In Sanskrit, it means 'ocean' or 'sea'. Across Arabic, Albanian, Hebrew, Latin, Sanskrit, Slavic, Indian, Korean, Finnish, Japanese and Turkish origins it carries meanings such as mother earth, peaceful, amazing, beautiful, prosperous, helpful, and princess.

Mira Plus AB is a registered Swedish startup, founded summer of 2022 and approved for F-skatt. We aim to find real smart solutions that are more environmentally safe, cost/time efficient and elegant. All services and products you find here are a collection of the owner's personal experience, tried out by family or friends, so we always trust what we offer and try to make it easier for everyone walking the same path.
